I will take any excuse I can to do a bit of shopping and England’s warmer weather is no exception. The first thing to mention is the Origins Make A Difference Plus Moisturiser, I have been on the hunt for a new moisturiser for a while now but always a bit reluctant to spend a lot if I’m not going to see any improvements in my skin.
I have heard good things about this however and so am looking forward to giving it a go as I am a big Origins fan already and the same goes of the Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil.
Make up wise I have read a lot of blog post mentioning the L’oreal Paris Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation and so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, and for only £6.99 you can’t really go wrong. I think this is a great spring/summer base, it goes on easily and doesn’t need much working into the skin. It’s matte finish means no need to faf around with powder which is an extra bonus. I have the shade vanilla which is a tad too pink on me but hopefully after getting some sun it will be just right.
Next I picked up two Revlon Color Burst Matt Balms in the colours Elusive and Audacious. Elusive is a subtle pink colour not far from the colour of my natural lips and Audacious is a deep orange shade. The formula of these is great they last a good few hours before needing to be touched up and they sit comfortably on the lips without being too drying at all.
As a bit of a clean freak the idea of white converse is a bit scary to me due to the fact I would probably prefer to keep them in their box untouched than risk getting them dirty but I took the plunge and purchased them anyway and I am proud to say I have already warn them out. I think they’re a great and easy way to add a spring feel to an outfit without having to ditch the ever so loved black Topshop skinnies.
