Plumful (on the right) is a Lustre lipstick from mac that I find is the perfect dark pink. It’s not too in your face but you look like you’ve made a bit of effort (which always helps). I wore this none stop throughout autumn and winter and it’s definitely my favourite, easy to wear pink.
Crosswires (on the left) is a Cremesheen lipstick also from Mac and is my most recent addition to my collection. It’s the perfect summer shade as its a bright orange that I find looks good even on my pale skin. It’s long lasting and even leaves a stain on the lips once the initial colour fades, which is very handy when you don’t have time for top ups.
Mac lipsticks are more expensive than high street ones (they’re around £15) but I have to say I personally think they’re worth it. Not just because of the long lasting formula but also the colour range, they literally have every shade you could possibly want and if you’re lucky the people that work at the counter can help you pick out a couple to suit your complexion. Oh and if anyone has any recommendations for my next purchase, I’m all ears.
