I have to admit I couldn’t help but jump on the band wagon with this one. It’s been raved about left, right and centre on the blogosphere and I have to agree it’s worth the hype. To me cleansers are the most important part of my skincare routine, they break down any left over makeup and dirt from your skin that has inevitably built up throughout the day.
Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel is all kinds of amazing, I take a pump onto the palm of my clean hands and rub it into my fingers a bit before massaging it over my face in circular motions. As I do so, the pink gel turns quickly into an oil which feels lovely and relaxing on your skin. I then use a damp flannel or muslin cloth to softly wipe away the product. Most cleansers I’ve used successfully leave my skin feeling clean and fresh after using them but none I’ve used have also left it feeling smooth and hydrated quite like this Oskia product does. It’s so hydrating my lips feel as though I’ve remembered to put on lip balm for once, which is also a great help in the winter months. The Renaissance Cleansing gel is £30 a bottle which is on the pricier side to what is normal to spend on a face wash but, I have to say, I think it’s worth every penny and since I’ve been using it blemishes from previous spots have very nearly faded completely and it’s left my skin looking better than it has done in a long time.
This is the only thing I have tried from the Oskia range but as its now a firm favourite in my skincare routine morning and night, I think it might be worth me looking into the rest of the range. I do love finding a good trusty staple product that I know will sort my skin out after a long day of wearing makeup.
