Skincare Crazy

Origins has been one of my favourite skincare brands for years. It’s very rare I find one brand I can buy my full routine from, and be happy with it, but origins is one of them. Over the past few years I’ve tried many different products from them, today I thought I’d run you through my two favourite ranges. The Make a Difference range is my favourite, the rejuvenating treatment lotion is probably the product I love the most. Although you see no immediate results from using a toner, I do find I am less likely to break out if I have been using one twice a day. They help tighten your pores, thus reducing the penetration of impurities and environmental contaminants into the skin. The plant serum with rejuvenating Rose of Jericho, Trehalose and Sea Haricots helps to add an extra layer of hydration. I’ve been using the Make a Difference Plus+ face cream for around a year and a half now, and am in no hurry to try anything else. I have tried both the moisturiser and the treatment from the same range and I’ll be honest there isn’t a lot of difference. However I find the moisturiser to be slightly more hydrating, so would probably say I preferred it if I had to choose. The scent of this range is quite strong but it’s not too overpowering, which may seem like an odd thing to comment on but when you’re putting products on your face you don’t want them to smell gross now do you?DSCN4252DSCN4236Another great range Origins have to offer is called GinZing, it’s designed to hydrate and ‘rev up radiance’. My face isn’t suddenly beaming after using the products but it does hydrate and plump my skin when it’s looking dull. The refreshing scrub cleanser is fresh and energising so a great one for the morning. Perhaps my favourite from this range is the eye cream, its pink shimmer means it brightens my under eyes really well and stops me looking half asleep, despite how I really feel. The GinZing mask is one I’m intrigued to try out as I like the range a lot and will carry on using it I’m sure. In general origins masks are my favourite, so might do a post about them soon if you’re interested?
